Yazmery Milian is an NYC-based actor completing her BFA at Montclair State University (2024). Growing up, she remembers wanting to be a million different things but not sticking to any of them (sorry Mom for the short-lived piano and guitar lessons). It wasn’t until her first theater performance in the fifth grade that she finally found something that felt like hers. She finds it to be a gift wanting to pursue an art form that not only lets her tap into worlds outside of her own but to also have to dive into to the one she knows as well. She feels very lucky to want to pursue a career in storytelling.

Outside of acting, Yazmery believes it’s vital to experience life outside of the craft (which ultimately serves performers anyway). Because of this, she can be found looking for that next thing that’ll make her experience of life that much more fulfilling whether that’s with the small things like a book, friends, or creating her silly little video diaries to look back on.
